A woman was reported missing on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024 and was found dead in her home in Northeast Philadelphia a day later.
Investigators say police officers responding to a missing person report over the weekend found the body of 53-year-old Ivelisse Lugo wrapped in a blanket in a garage in Northeast PhillyA woman who was reported missing over the weekend was found dead inside a garage at her in Northeast Philadelphia, officials said.
Detectives said Lugo was stabbed multiple times. Officials also believe the person who killed Lugo attempted to clean the scene. “I am appalled and it kind of hits different. Like a family member because we’ve all been around here for so long,” a neighbor toldLugo has two daughters, and neighbors said, they were knocking on doors asking people if they had seen her before her body was discovered.
