Kota Kinabalu: A woman has been remanded for three days from tomorrow to assist in the investigation of a theft of RM24.2 million from several fixed deposit accounts at a bank.

The same court also allowed the remand order for 10 other suspects in the case, aged 22 to 53, to be extended for a further three days. On Wednesday, Bukit Aman commercial crime investigation department director Ramli Yoosuf said 13 people, including four bank employees, had been detained to assist in the investigation.He said individuals from inside and outside the bank conspired to withdraw the money, which could only have been done through internal collusion within the bank.
