A woman, 63, said Sept. 9 that a Giant Eagle employee forcefully pushed a cart into her in the store’s vestibule and it caused her to hit a rack and fall to the ground.
Officers spoke to the store managers, who explained that the man, 29, has special needs and had apologized to them several times about the incident.
A resident of the Wynwood apartments reported Sept. 8 that someone had entered his vehicle overnight and stolen a pair of sunglasses and a charging cord.He believed the vehicle had been locked, but no forced entry was found. No other vehicles in the parking lot were entered.A construction worker was cited for disorderly conduct Sept. 8 after he sprayed water into a car that was passing by while concrete was being poured.
They were identified a short time later after they were caught shoplifting at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Lyndhurst. She said it included her car keys and wallet. A friend had to come to the location to bring a spare car key.The city prosecutor informed police Sept. 12 that a woman had used her sister’s identity when cited during a traffic stop in July.
