Woman pretended to be pop star to get on Celebrity Big Brother - and fooled housemates
Chantelle Houghton applied to be a contestant on Big Brother, liking her chances of winning over the nation's hearts on what was the UK's biggest TV show.She was given a spot in the celebrity version of the show in 2006, but she was only allowed to stay if she managed to convince her housemates that she wasn't a receptionist from Essex, but was actually the lead singer of the fictional girlband Kandy Floss.
