was walking along the road in Clay to avoid taking a ride with a man who had been drinking, according to the Onondaga County, N.Y., district attorney.Madison Faltisco, 22, of Liverpool, was seen on video walking along the shoulder of Oswego Road Thursday night, said Tom Newton, a spokesperson for the Onondaga County sheriff’s office.
Faltisco made three calls to the friend shortly before the hit-and-run, but the friend didn’t get the calls. Minutes later, Schiano got into another accident in front of a thrift store at 7595 Oswego Rd. A caller to 911 told dispatchers a driver who was possibly drunk had hit poles holding up the thrift store’s sign.A 22-year-old woman died after she was hit by a car on Oswego Road in Clay, New York, Thursday night and found dead on Friday, June 9, 2023. Officers said the car fled the scene.
Newton said authorities are still waiting on toxicology reports to determine Schiano’s blood alcohol level that night.
