24-year-old Dawnielle Rhodes was killed when her car collided with a pickup truck shortly after 7:30 p.m. Authorities say she was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another woman, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment.
The driver of the pickup was also injured and taken to Baptist Medical Center South, ALEA said. A 17-year-old passenger in the pickup was injured as well and transported to an area hospital.
