A woman was rushed to hospital and subsequently arrested after an alleged car smash that resulted in a gas leak in a Scots town.
She was taken to hospital for treatment, where her current condition is unknown. Officers investigating the incident say she has also been arrested in connection. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.45pm on Friday, May 12, we were called to a report of a crash which resulted in a gas leak on Crosshill Street, Lennoxtown. A 54-year-old woman has been taken to hospital.
