According to the police, members of the QCPD Holy Spirit Station immediately went to the New Era Hospital on Thursday, April 21, around 11:30 p.m. after they received a call from the hospital’s security guard about a child being treated for multiple injuries. He also said they were able to talk to the spiritual leaders of the suspect and the Muslim community that contacted the child’s mother.
Medina said that they want to determine if the suspect did the crime due to postpartum depression since she just gave birth eight months ago. Her child was also rescued by the CIDU in a follow-up operation.Abong said the suspect, who is currently under police custody, continuously cried as she admitted the crime.
