New South Wales Police are investigating after the body of a woman was discovered in a Western Sydney home late on Easter Sunday.

“Upon arrival, officers from Cumberland Police Area Command located the body of a woman. She is yet to be formally identified,” the statement said. “A 38-year-old man was spoken to at the scene, before he was taken to Granville Police Station to assist with inquiries.“Detectives have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.”
