The husband of a 32-year-old woman who was killed in Headingley will appear in court today after being charged with murder.
On Thursday morning, West Yorkshire Police confirmed Harleen Kaur Satpreet Gandhi of Headingley is the woman who died. A male was arrested in Kirstall Road at 8.30pm following the incident, and now Harleen's husband Satpreet Singh Gandhi, 37, has been charged with murder.Ghandi is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court this morning . In a statement, WYP confirmed: "A man is due to appear in court today charged over the murder of a woman in Leeds.
"Police were called to an incident at a flat in Victoria Road at 6.26pm on Monday where Harleen was found seriously injured and was pronounced dead in hospital a short time later."
