A woman was found dead by firefighters responding to a house fire near Watkins on Monday morning, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Fire crews respond Monday, July 1, 2024, to a house fire in the 600 block of N. Bersshine Street in Arapahoe County. Crews found the body of a woman inside the home.
Firefighters from six agencies; fire investigators from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and Arapahoe County investigators and crime scene investigators all responded to the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
