A woman has shared a snap of a bargain she found in her local charity shop and while she feels 'a bit guilty' about what she paid, she still thinks she deserves it
She picked up a fancy Le Creuset dish for only £30 in a charity shop – but was stunned by it's real value.
Recognised for its French-Belgian cookware, particularly its cast-iron wares, Le Creuset is a beloved brand amongst foodies and chefs alike. A different commenter humorously pointed out: "When they write about privilege in future, this will be the example! Only in a fancy area could a charity shop shopper have access to pans this fancy. You're perpetuating the cycle! Now, give me the French pot!"
The woman excitedly replied: "That's the awesome thing: I already HAVE the matching set, it was a wedding present. And I found this one on our anniversary! We got a set as a wedding present and I always wanted to get the larger casserole too. Weirdly enough it was actually our anniversary yesterday."
