The woman was looking for inspiration outside of her native language - but admits this has caused a stir on walks
A woman who is so embarrassed by what her dad named her dog says it has made walks in the park very awkward.
The woman took to Reddit to share her exasperation at his unusual name her new pup - as she explained her dog was named 'Bag', which translates into Tasche in German. As she shouts across the park, other owners often question her on the meaning behind this odd name. She added: "If you want to know, for example, the name of the dog of a pedestrian, and it's weird, don't question it."
"Most people want to know why, and this gives me an opportunity to have a nice conversation with a stranger. View it as a positive."
