A woman drowned at Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast on Sunday afternoon after three people got into trouble in the water.
Police said initial information suggested that about 3.15pm emergency services responded to the incident, in which a woman and child were rescued, along with another person who had rushed into the water to help.“Despite resuscitation attempts, the woman died at the scene,” police said.Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
