A preliminary investigation found a suspect stole the victim’s car, sped away with her inside, and crashed into a pole, police said.
Officers responded about 1 a.m. to the 1300 block of Murdock Road, near Trinity Forest Adventure Park, to a kidnapping and car accident call, according to a news release. When they arrived, they found a woman lying in the street, police said.
