A preliminary investigation found a suspect stole the victim’s car, sped away with her inside, and crashed into a pole, police said.

Officers responded about 1 a.m. to the 1300 block of Murdock Road, near Trinity Forest Adventure Park, to a kidnapping and car accident call, according to a news release. When they arrived, they found a woman lying in the street, police said. She was declared dead at the scene.A preliminary investigation found a suspect stole the victim’s car, sped away with her inside and crashed into a pole, police said.

A suspect was arrested in the case and taken to a local hospital. The release said the suspect’s identity will not be released until they are formally charged., Breaking News Reporter.
