A 36-year-old mother-of-two has died in hospital after being shot during a suspected hostage incident in Kent.
Police were called to Priory Road in Dartford at 12.40pm on Saturday, after receiving reports of a disturbance in a house there.
A trained negotiator was sent to the scene with officers, and tried to engage with the 29-year-old man inside.She was taken to a hospital in London, but died yesterday afternoon.Kent Police said he was being treated as the suspect. Investigators from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are now treating the firearms incident as murder following the woman’s death.
