Sheriff's deputies approach a vehicle involved in a fatal auto-pedestrian crash late Monday in Channelview.A woman was killed late Monday in an auto-pedestrian crash in Channelview, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
An SUV around 10:30 p.m. was traveling north in the 2000 block of Dell Dale Street when a 25-year-old woman began crossing the street, Sgt. Deshana Cheek, of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, told On Scene reporters.Deputies arrived and transported the woman to the hospital, where she later was pronounced dead.
Investigators didn't notice any signs of intoxication from the driver, and he remained on the scene, cooperating.
