A New Castle, Delaware woman, April Love, drove her car into Inspira Health Center in Bridgeton, New Jersey, nearly hitting a security officer.
A woman was arrested after she drove a car into a Cumberland County, New Jersey hospital shortly before midnight on New Year's Eve. April Love, 38, of New Castle, Delaware, was charged with assault by a motor vehicle, endangering another person, and criminal mischief after she drove her car through the ambulance bay doors at Inspira Health Center in Bridgeton, nearly hitting a security officer, Bridgeton police said. When police arrived at the hospital around 11:30 p.m.
on Tuesday, they found Love at the scene. She had crashed through the ambulance bay entrance and careered approximately 60 feet through a hospital hallway, police said. The security officer sustained a minor injury when he jumped out of the way of the car, a spokesperson for Inspira Health said.The walk-in emergency entrance remained open at the time of the incident, and patient care was not affected, the spokesperson said
