Ashley White, 29, was found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Cody DeLisa. Prosecutors said White met a man on a bus who encouraged her to kill DeLisa after he made fun of her. White and the man then shot DeLisa twice in the head and fled with his wallet.

“Three years after the shooting, a woman identified as the girlfriend of Michael Stratton contacted” prosecutors, “stating she believed her boyfriend was the man responsible for killing DeLisa.”The press release said her description of Stratton’s confession matched White’s account of the crime.“This was a tragic and senseless murder and Ashley White bears significant culpability for it,” said District Attorney Brian Mason.
