A woman who owns a condo in Sussex County has been arrested after authorities say she voted in both New Jersey and Florida in 2020. Donna Prentes Brady, 66, of Ocala, Florida, was charged with two counts of casting more than one ballot in any election, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said. Brady voted in person in Marion County, Florida and by mail in Sussex County in both the state primary and general elections that year, officials said.

She was arrested Monday and booked into to the Marion County jail shortly before 3 p.m, according to online jail records. Brady spent about more than seven hours locked up before being released on $2,000 bail.Brady voted in the Democratic primary in New Jersey and the Republican primary in Florida.Our journalism needs your support.
