The attacks appear to be separate and random, according to investigators.
A woman is charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault in the stabbings of a 1-year-old boy and a woman in Philadelphia .Police said Takeira Hester , 29, approached two parents walking down the street with twins on Saturday.She allegedly stabbed one of the twins once in each arm before taking off.The boy's dad chased after her, and she dropped a black bag.Items inside the bag were used to identify Hester, according to police.
Investigators believe Hester also stabbed a 24-year-old woman earlier in the day. The victim is expected to be OK.The boy was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.'What could a 1-year-old be doing that would offend anyone else, no matter what race, religion, point of view?' one man said.'I don't know what kind of person would do that anywhere in the world.
