A woman was charged with promotion of prostitution on Monday during an undercover investigation at a massage parlor in northeast Harris County, the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said.
Pct. 4 carried out an investigation at Sophia Massage at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of FM 1960, after receiving complaints that alleged that prostitution was taking place at the establishment.
During the operation, an investigator posed as a customer and was “solicited for sex and/or sex acts by one female working in the establishment,” authorities said.At the scene, a woman said Mei Wang was also a victim of human trafficking, but she later denied this.Anyone with additional information on this case is urged to call Pct. 4 at 281-376-3472.Cynthia Miranda graduated from UT Austin and is a proud Houstonian.
