Seztu allegedly committed the offence at 4.05pm on Aug 13, 2022 in a house at Taman Fulliwa, Manggatal.
Seztu Mei Mei pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Lovely Natasha Charles to have deceived one Rosliana Mohd Yassin by fraudulently inducing her to believe that the ad for renting a unit in Angkasa apartment, Manggatal is open for rent. The charge under Section 417 of the Penal Code carries a jail term of up to five years or fine or both on conviction.
Indonesian Laurentius Lewo, 38, was sentenced to 12 months in jail for having 0.16gm at 12.20pm on Nov 4, 2022 in Inanam. He was also ordered to be referred to the Immigration Department after serving the sentence. Juin Pasus, 36, was sentenced to 10 months in jail for having 0.07gm of syabu at 8.45pm on Oct 9, 2022 in Inanam. They were charged under Section 12 of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, which provides for a fine of up to RM100,000 or up to five years in jail or both on conviction.
