Lynda Wright, 53, was charged with failure to stop after an accident, a felony, after allegedly hitting a man with her car and fleeing the scene. The crash happened in front of a Long John Silver’s on Cooper Foster Park Road near Ashwood Boulevard in Lorain, Ohio. Police tracked Wright to a Days Inn in Amherst after using evidence from the scene to identify her vehicle, a white Subaru Legacy. The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

A news release from Lorain police says Lynda Wright, 53, is charged with failure to stop after an accident, a felony. The identity of the victim has not been released by police.

Police say they initially had no information on the vehicle involved, but investigators used evidence found at the scene to determine it was a white Subaru Legacy. Investigators from Lorain and Amherst were then able to track the vehicle to a Days Inn on North Leavitt Road in Amherst.
