Seren Lloyd jailed over incident in city's Clon Elagh area
A woman who assaulted three members of the public who intervened when her partner’s pit bull type dog mauled another dog to death was jailed today.
A prosecution barrister told District Judge Barney McElholm that Lloyd was with her partner when his dog inflicted fatal injuries on the other dog. When the woman walking the second dog tried to protect her pet, Lloyd acted aggressively towards her. “When her father tried to separate the animals the man with the defendant attacked him. Lloyd then swung a chain like dog lead at the father’s head and was verbally aggressive towards him”, the prosecutor added.
Mr McElholm said Lloyd committed the offences just a few weeks after she’d received a suspended sentence and a final warning for another offence
