ANCHORAGE, Alaska -
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says as the plane began its descent into Anchorage on Tuesday night, 38-year-old Caryn Evan of Chefornak was seen flailing her arms uncontrollably, yelling, slamming her head on the seat in front of her, and hitting her husband. The situation reached the point where a flight attendant called for help from passengers to help control Evan, according to charging documents. A nurse volunteered to help, and later, the flight crew managed to put flex cuffs on Evan.
Charging documents say she was under the influence of alcohol, and her husband stated that she consumed more alcohol than usual before boarding the flight, due to her anxiety related to flying.Evan’s defense team said they were unable to talk Friday.Fatal wreck leaves 2 injured dogs seeking new home ‘He shot her once in the head and once in the stomach’: 3 killed on Mother’s Day, victim’s brother wants their names remembered
