Police officers swarmed a property on Carron Street at around 7.25pm on Wednesday (September 11) and found around 38kg of cannabis, cash and items used for the distribution of illegal drugs.
Drugs with an estimated street value of over £144,000 were discovered during a raid in North Lanarkshire .

Detective Sergeant Vicky Shanley said: "This is a significant recovery and is an example of our efforts to disrupt the trade in illegal drugs in Scotland. "It also underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
