by Danielle MacKimm, KUTVA 23-year-old woman was arrested after police said she stabbed a man seven times in a Bluffdale apartment unit while seven children were inside.
Upon entering the apartment unit, officers stated they saw "a large amount of blood covering the floors, walls, and one bloodied individual on the floor."A group of officers then followed a blood trail that led from the apartment down to the parking lot in search of the other involved man. When questioned, Happold reportedly told police that the man who was stabbed was known to hit his wife. That night, he became aggressive and attempted to strike his wife, at which point Happold said she stood in the way "and wouldn't allow him to."Officers said that Happold told them the man then became frustrated and started taking out his anger on her husband. Happold said the man fled once she yelled that she was calling the police.
