Elizabeth Wolf rearrested on $1 million bond after being accused of trying to drown 3-year-old girl Elizabeth Wolf , 42, was originally arrested on May 19 after police said she was making racist remarks towards the child's mother before trying to drown the child.states in a news release the children are Muslim and that the mother was wearing a hijab, or Islamic headscarf, and modest swimwear.
During a bond hearing on June 27, Wolf's bond was increased to $1 million and she was taken back into custody, Euless police Capt. Brenda AlvaradoPolice noted a witness told them "a woman who was very intoxicated had tried to drown a child and argued with the child’s mother." The child's mother told police Wolf questioned where she was from and if the two children playing at the pool were hers. Wolf allegedly also made statements about the mother not being American.
"When the mother answered her Wolf tried to grab her 6-year-old son but he pulled away from her grasp, which caused a scratch on his finger. The mother began helping her son when Wolf grabbed her 3-year-old daughter and forced her underwater," according to a news release
