A concept artist has implied that Marvel’s Wolverine is out next year and that the next game from the makers of Days Gone is due in 2025.
That definitely looks like Wolverine One of the strangest things about Sony’s months of silence, regarding its upcoming line-up of games, is that there’s also been very few leaks. There’s been lots of talk of what might be going on behind the scenes, in terms of sacked execs and live service games put on the back burner, but very little about any new single-player games.
That makes sense on some level – Sony will certainly want someone to make a new game, given the success of the movie – but there’s never been any real evidence that Bend are the ones doing it. They do seem a reasonable choice, but the profile of a different concept art, also discovered on ResetEra, suggests that the game involves ‘sci-fi and apocalypse’. It’s not hard to think of ways that could relate to Wolverine but it’s more difficult to see how it could be Uncharted.
