Our WNBA prop picks see Arike Ogunbowale coming to life vs. the Golden State Valkyries on Friday, July 25, 2025.
The Minnesota Lynx put their 13-0 home record on the line tonight as part of a three-game WNBA slate, but there’s no room for complacency for the league’s No.1 team with the chasing pack on their heels.
That pack is led by the New York Liberty and Phoenix Mercury, who meet at Barclays Center this evening, and there’s big-name talent on the board for the WNBA player props market. Check out my Top 3in the lineup, and her return from an ankle injury provides a huge boost for the defending champs. Having been sidelined since June 19, Jones was back for Tuesday’s win over the Indiana Fever, and she wasted no time in re-establishing her dominance in the paint. She grabbed nine boards in just 23 minutes that night, and I like this Over on a line of 7.5 rebounds here, even with the Liberty likely to manage JJ’s minutes carefully. Jones has piled up 9+ rebounds in the last six contests where she’s logged at least 23 minutes, and she’s averaging 9.5 RPG this year overall. That’s a big factor in New York ranking second in the league in defensive rebounds per game. While she’s facing a Phoenix Mercury frontcourt that boasts Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner, Jones still has a size edge there. She’s likely to be camped out around the rim, with Breanna Stewart stepping out to the perimeter where needed. McBride has dropped in 17+ points in four straight games, though admittedly, three of those contests were against the struggling Chicago Sky. I’m banking on her to continue that streak tonight, with the Aces vulnerable on the second night of a back-to-back set. The Minnesota Lynx aren’t messing around this year. They’ve won their past three outings by 13+ points, and McBride has found a nice rhythm next to Napheesa Collier. She’s tucked into more volume lately, with double-digit field goal attempts in seven of her last eight contests. The 3-ball will be the key to nailing this prop. McBride ranks second in the WNBA in 3-point attempts per game and third in 3-point percentage. It only takes a few triples for the Minnesota sharpshooter to take a chunk out of this prop. A dip in scoring isn’t exactly a huge surprise, with Dallas drafting Paige Bueckers as another offensive engine, but Ogunbowale is shooting a sub-par 36% from the field in 2025. But I’m zagging away from those concerns here and buying into the encouraging signs last time out against the Seattle Storm. Ogunbowale finished with 20 points on Tuesday, making seven of her 12 shots, including four 3-pointers. Perhaps the All-Star break came at the perfect moment — or going from All-Star Game MVP in 2024 to not being selected this year hit a nerve. She’ll go head-to-head with a stubborn Golden State Valkyries defense tonight, but she can take confidence from a 19-point effort against the Valkyries earlier this season. Though the Wings are still searching for the right combinations at both ends of the court, as their 7-17 mark suggests, this Ogunbowale points prop Over feels within reach.: Our team of experts has thoroughly researched and handpicked each product that appears on our website.
