WM Motor said its Wenzhou Factory has resumed operations this month, and has been gradually recovering its production capacity. This means its backlog of orders will be fulfilled and delivered in a short period of time.
The smooth resumption of work and production can be attributed to the alleviation of WM Motor’s financial burden. This is mainly due to the financial support provided by the local government based on relevant export orders and the coordination of the supply chain and parts supply, which enabled prompt restoration of operations at the Wenzhou factory.
WM Wenzhou factory’s resumption of production shows that, after small-scale trial operation, nearly 100 units WM E5s have been approved and dispatched. At the same time, WM’s internal resumption of work and production documents also indicate that 310 job vacancies in 24 key departments have been filled.
According to WM Motor, the resumption of operations at its Wenzhou factory signifies the brand’s push to penetrate global markets. WM Motor is distributed exclusively by WM Motor Philippines, its first-ever full-play distributor outside of China. Currently, WM Motor Philippines sells the Weltmeister W5 , a vehicle which has sold over 50,000 units globally since its debut.Share this on:
