Witnesses have told of their horror after a bus crashed into a cafe on Piccadilly Gardens. Ambulance chiefs have confirmed there are a 'number of casualties' after the Diamond bus ploughed into T4 bubble tea shop on Monday afternoon.
A member of staff at Tegtat bakery, next door to T4, said: "I was working on the till and just heard a big noise. I went outside and the bus had crashed into T4.READ MORE: The top stories across the M.E.N. Posting on X, Soph wrote: "A bus has just crashed into the front of a shop at Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester, never seen so many emergency service vehicles in my life. Properly, properly horrendous."
