has emerged as a star player in its niche within the booming business of youth athletics. Building from its small-town roots, the company has big plans for expansion.
Just as importantly, the company must change its operations if it’s going to keep its costs low while also expanding output. “We don't get from where we are today to double in size by doing things the way we've always done them,” Daniel says. “We have to be better on the marketing side. We have to be better on the sales side. We have to be better in fulfillment. There are a million opportunities for us, there are a million ways that we can get better, and that's what we intend to do.
“It was impossible for us to maintain 10 to 12 different systems and get them to talk to each other without adding significant headcount,” says Director of IT Micah Sugg. Even with all of the different systems, there was still a significant amount of paperwork and manual data entry.
