With Mathew Barzal and Bo Horvat, Anthony Duclair could create 'dangerous' 1st line with Islanders

Anthony Duclair will start his Islanders career working on the first line alongside Mathew Barzal and Bo Horvat.

“Going into free agency, I had a lot of decisions to make and I felt that looking at this lineup, I can fit in really easy,” Duclair said. “You just look at the forward group, particularly the top six, a lot of skill, a lot of talent. I like what they’ve done the past couple years… “This is my 11th year now in the league,” Duclair said. “The coaches, management have seen me play a bunch of times. They know what they expect out of me and I know what I expect of myself.”

Duclair was roommates with Horvat during the 2012 Hlinka Tournament with Team Canada, though they were not on the same line.
