School districts, including Harrisburg, have already said they will be starting later on Wednesday.

Temperatures once again remained in the low to mid-20s on Tuesday and are predicted to drop to 10 degrees or below overnight, meaning that anything that melted during the day will freeze. That is expected to prompt a lot of schools throughout central Pennsylvania to delay classes by an hour or two.

The Harrisburg School District has already announced that it will operate on a two-hour delay with no early release for students. High schools will be dismissed at 2:45 pm, middle schools at 3:30 pm, and elementary schools at 3:50 pm.
