Wisma Putra is arranging to fly home the remaining Malaysians stranded in India.
Deputy Foreign Minister Kamarudin Jaffar said at the moment, Wisma Putra was finding out the real story behind the issue. “The flight was originally scheduled for April 14. The Malaysian consulate-general in Chennai has provided the necessary consular assistance, including hotel, food and drinks to all those affected,” he said.
On Malaysians in Africa, Kamarudin said four Malaysians were stranded in N’Djamena, Chad, since March 19 following the closure of the airport from March 18 to April 25.
