JUST IN: Wisconsin man who was charged with kidnapping 13-year-old Jayme Closs and murdering her parents in October cries in court as he pleads guilty Wednesday.
Jake Patterson appears for his preliminary hearing Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at Barron County Circuit Court in Barron, Wisconsin. Patterson is accused of killing James and Denise Closs on Oct. 15 and kidnapping their daughter, Jayme Closs, from their Barron home. Patterson, dressed in an orange jumpsuit, appeared in a Barron County Court on Wednesday afternoon and answered"yes" to a judge asking him if he wanted to plead guilty. As the judge read the charges, Patterson cried as he said he was guilty.
