The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch at 4:47 p.m. on Friday valid from Sunday 1 p.m. until Monday 7 p.m. for Greene and Fayette counties.
"Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening and Monday morning commutes," explains the weather service. "Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.
