A cold Canadian storm will spread across San Diego County on Sunday, producing sporadic showers that will last into early Tuesday and winds that could gust to 60 mph in the region’s mountains, the National Weather Service said. The winds could damage trees.
As much as 7 to 12 inches of snow could fall above the 5,500 foot level, particularly on Mount Laguna.It appears that coastal areas will receive from 0.50 inches to 0.75 inches of rain throughout the duration of the storm while areas farther inland, including Escondido and Julian, could get from 1.00 to 1.50 inches of precipitation.
