Storm totals are now projected to hit 6 or 7 inches around the region, according to the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for several central Pa. counties, in effect until early Friday morning.An additional three to five inches of snow is expected on top of earlier forecasted snow, totaling five to seven inches in some areas.ALSO READ:Heavy snow is expected, with an additional three to five inches of snow to accumulate on top of earlier predictions. The NWS now expects five or six inches of snow to accumulate in these counties.
The NWS warns that travel will be slower than usual during the normal morning commute times for these counties. Drivers should allow for extra time in the morning for snow removal, and a longer than normal travel time.
