A winter storm is expected to bring 2 to 4 inches of snow to Harrisburg and surrounding areas, with heavier snowfall in Chambersburg and Gettysburg. The storm is expected to last through Monday.

Harrisburg and surrounding counties are forecast to get 2 to 4 inches of snow, with more as you get closer to the Maryland line. Snowfall is expected to start after sunset across southwestern Pennsylvania and overspread much of the area. Chambersburg and Gettysburg should expect 4 to 7 inches through Monday night. The NWS has issued Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories across southern Pennsylvania, valid this evening through Monday.

The intensity of the snowfall in Pennsylvania is still uncertain, but under a worst-case scenario, Pennsylvania south of Interstate 80 could see a half-foot of snow in total. Snow will move into Central PA overnight and will continue into Monday afternoon.
