The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory most of Northeast Ohio.
Updated: Dec. 29, 2024, 10:41 p.m. CLEVELAND , Ohio — Thousands of Northeast Ohio residents were without power Sunday night because of wind gusts that forecasters say could top 50 mph.
Wind gusts had exceeded 50 mph at Hopkins International Airport at about 10:40 p.m. Sunday. Winds were steady at more than 30 mph.
