Evacuations were ordered because of a vegetation fire burning in Napa County north of Calistoga on Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The county sent out an alert around 10:30 a.m. about the fire in the area of Old Lawley Toll Road, initially saying there were no evacuations underway or structures threatened.
