A brand-new trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series Willow was released during the ongoing D23 Expo, highlighting the return of a beloved character.

The latest trailer continues to give fans more footage on the new story coming from the Disney+ series, which will continue the adventure from the 1988 film, and will center on an unlikely group of heroes as they set off on a quest and face off against both their inner demons and real-life foes while they try to save the world.
It was also announced that Christian Slater will be joining the cast as someone who is linked to Val Kilmer’s Madmartigan, though little else is known.Warwick Davis returns from the original film for the series. He will reprise his role as Willow Ufgood. However, the spotlight will now fall on Princess Kit , as she has to save her twin brother, who has been kidnapped. Kit won’t be alone on her quest, as a warrior named Jade and Kit’s maid, Dove , will accompany her.
