Willow executive producer, Jonathan Kasdan, hints at Elora Danan's fate and journey in the new series. Elora Danan was first introduced in the 1988 movie Willow, where she was prophesied to bring down the evil sorceress and tyrannical queen Bevmoda. For this reason, Elora was targeted before birth and hunted relentlessly once born.
Jon Kasdan: It was a challenge because [Elora Danan] was someone I'd been thinking about since I was eight years old. I was wondering what had happened to this girl. How did she deal with the responsibility that was thrust upon her and the name that was thrust upon her? And what would that mean?
