Williamson County is constructing a new $10.7 million event pavilion at the Expo Center to host all 82 annual county events, addressing the area's rapid population growth. The new facility will include bathrooms, showers, and expanded parking.
A new event arena at the Williamson County Expo Center will be able to host all of the county's annual events.
WilCo Parks Director, Russell Fishbeck, said they've had to turn people away and limit existing events to accommodate everybody. "It's just something that we can keep building on, and we're able to hold better events, and bigger events, and serve the public even more so it's really exciting," he said. "I see this as investing into ourselves, our future, and our history."
