A former royal aide who accused Meghan Markle of bullying has been handed a major new honour by Prince William
The former royal aide who testified against Meghan Markle of bullying has received a major new honour from King Charles.
He ended his career with the royal household as chief executive of the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Royal Foundation before stepping down at the end of 2021. In March 2021, The Times reported that Mr Knauf - who worked for Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, as their communications secretary - had emailed William’s then private secretary in October 2018 complaining that the Duchess of Sussex was "bullying" junior staff in the palace.
However, a spokesperson for the Sussexes at the time forcefully denied the allegations made in the Times article - saying Meghan was "saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma”.
