Beloved Spider-Man actor Willem Dafoe answers if he would ever return to his iconic Green Goblin role after appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Spider-Man: No Way Home saw the return of Willem Dafoe's iconic supervillain, the Green Goblin, over a decade after his last appearance--but it may not have been the last time that the actor portrays his signature Marvel character. After appearing as Norman Osborn in the first installment of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy in 2002, Dafoe instantly became an essential part of Spider-Man's live-action mythos, setting a high bar for the web-slinger's cinematic enemies.
“If everything was right, sure. I mean, that's a great role. I liked the fact that it's a double role both times. Twenty years ago, and fairly recently, both times [were] very different experiences, but I had a good time on both.”
