Utahns getting in the mood for Halloween on Monday woke up to temperatures that felt a lot more like a middle-of-winter holiday.

The state's Oct. 30 temperatures were expected to only make it into the mid 40s for a large chunk of the state.GALLERY: Annual Howloween costume contest held to support Utah animal rescues Some may be wondering if an encore of 2022 was in the tarot cards, when the state got its first valley-level snow of the seasonThe good news is that candy-seeking kids and party-bound adults won't have to break out any snow gear to enjoy 2023's Halloween.
